In addition to this Privacy Policy, certain Hypertherm services on or accessible from this Site have Supplemental Terms that will govern your use of such services. These also form a part of the Terms and Conditions.

Information collection and usage

We monitor how visitors use the Hypertherm Web Sites and we collect data including, but not limited to, numbers of visitors and visits, pages visited, geo-location data, length of time spent on the site, device and browser information.

Sharing personal data

Hypertherm does not sell or rent personal information collected on the Hypertherm Web Sites outside the Hypertherm Company.

Hypertherm sells its products through channels partners. When you contact us regarding purchasing a Hypertherm product or service, we may share your personal data with a channel partner in order to fulfill your request.

Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your Personal Data with third-party service providers who are under contract Hypertherm. Such sharing of information helps us provide services to you and process Personal Data on our behalf for the above-mentioned purposes. We may, retain a third party to help us determine what marketing information you might find useful. The service providers are bound by law and/or contract to protect the confidentiality and security of personal data, and to only process your personal data to provide requested services and only act on our documented instructions.

Hypertherm web server security setup

Hypertherm servers throughout the network are registered using industry-standard certificate techniques. This enables all communication between our servers to be verified when services are requested between our computers.

All of the personal information collected from you on the Site, including names, addresses, are stored behind a "firewall," and defenses have been erected to seek to enhance the protection of your information.

Collection of information by third-party sites and sponsors

Our sites contain links to other sites whose information practices may be different than ours. Visitors should also consult the other sites' privacy notices as we may have no control over information that is submitted to, or collected by, these third parties.

Hypertherm posts information about programs and events that are sponsored by or co-sponsored by other organizations. Should you choose to register electronically for any of these events, Hypertherm will have no control over the third-party sponsors' use of this information.

However, in the case of third party data collection, such as for lead ads, both the third party and Hypertherm may be data controllers. Therefore, both parties are responsible for ensuring compliance by providing notice and establishing a legal basis for processing the data provided by a data subject. We are currently reviewing our disclosures to determine whether any changes need to be made regarding data subject consent to sending their data to Hypertherm and further processing by Hypertherm.

Legal requests

Hypertherm cooperates with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third parties, to enforce laws. We can (and you authorize us to) disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose us, service or content providers we work with, or you to possible legal liability.

Modification

Hypertherm reserves the right to modify or supplement this Privacy Policy at any time. Because of this you should read this Privacy Policy every time you access Hypertherm Web Sites. All modifications or supplements to this Privacy Policy are effective when posted on the Web Site.
